Going out of instance is impossible and if you use a scroll you go back to Gelkmaros/Inggison and then have to go on foot back to the instance that changes locations. That +45k AP doesn't justify any of this. I wish HM went back to its 6.x days, static position in the camp and giving the good amount of AP again. skythee-DN Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 TY for tips about potential AP boost for doing some of left or right before 2 min close down then going middle...might try it some time when times there to experiment... So after pondering these revelations I did a middle run only with Vandal #1 skanky and attempted to pay more attention... Using AP Jelly 10 min 20% AP gain buff x2, we got from Klaw Q (when 1st buff applied) to Girad all done just in time, then kobolds/buga/box on # 2 jelly ...total result = 929,997 AP It was a good run in that the vandal took out the entire second room, Oculazen's and the rest of them all, in a 3 hit combo in what seemed about 10 seconds to secure that sections AP but will check that timing and the stage totals more closely next time. Anyway am I missing something as that total AP seems much higher, not complaining, than the un-buffed middle run max's mentioned above, even discounting the 20%? I then did a second first run with other Vandal skinky from other account but it had somehow acquired a different buff for 30 min of 10% AP gain. Even so the run seemed the same as with the other for a total result of 868,000 AP rounded. When I look at my 20% vs 10% I'm wondering if there's an RNG component in the mix to final result, &/or the sub-total calculation nuances are too subtle to notice in play. Arhangelos Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 When you go to the right side kill the two bosses and go further and kill the next two bosses, it ends up giving you even better AP amount. then go to the left side to do those few mobs, go back and then do the whole middle. I have a +8 AP rune buff and prestige and this way I got 1.275.490AP in one run. It is almost as good as it used to be in 6.x patch and that is because of the rune exclusively. Numerous times I was going towards the entrance only for it to vanish seconds before I went there! That doesn't serve anything to the game except for frustration. Like I am not earning or gaining anything from having to constantly port and go back and use those XP mark scrolls to go to camps (because teleporting in maps after 6.x was never player friendly).
