If you had read the weekly announcements before posting, you would know that the drop rate increase starts today after maintenance which should address those issues.

Aion is Free to Play, go play it. Aion Classic is a niche subscription product. Many people, including myself, think Classic is overpriced for the level of effort NCsoft put into it in North America.

Stigmas are on vendors in later versions of Aion, it's just missing in 2.x. The drop rate increase next week might help to fix the stigma shortage.

Hopefully the increased drop rate will fix that next week. I have played on servers with about 3x the Classic drop rate and manastones are quite common, you don't even bother to put them on the brokers half the time.

The requirement for groups to complete campaign quests should be removed. The purpose of campaign should be to tell a story line, and get a new player up to max level. The group instances should be about working for good gear, group PvP, and general teamwork. It's always been a design flaw in Aion, it assumes everyone is starting off at level one on a fresh server, and moving though the game at roughly the same time. eg. Aethergenetics Lab, Azoturan Fortress, Theo Labs etc. should all be solo instances.

The problem I see is people screamed about bots getting gold armor and weapon drops back when Classic launched, then all of a sudden the drop rate was dramatically reduced. NCsoft clearly see bots as good revenue, I have reported the bots outside Inggison fortress maybe 200+ times, basically every day on each toon I do Mith coin repeats since 2.0 came out. Still the bots remain, that speaks volumes. The private servers I have tested have no bots, and good anti cheat protection, go figure. It's all about the number of Siel's Aura subscriptions NCSoft can sell, they would be perfectly happy if there were no actual players, jut bots. Because that way they get the subscription revenue, but don't have to do support for a real player base, which saves on staff costs. Higher bot numbers, with the bad drops, means more players leave, so the bot runners have less players to sell the drops to, so they will eventually cancel subs and leave too.

Lol, that's crazy when most players are over L51, so there is hardly anyone needing B Dredge anymore.

For me, that has always been a problem. I fail to see why they can't made Dredge 4 times per day, 6hrs apart, with a 3 entry per day limit. Also make sure that Dredge, Tiak, and siege times never overlap. It's just common sense scheduling.

True, that's why I cancelled my subscription today, other server seem to be run far better.

Solo PvP is very random, much better in a PvP group where everyone is doing there part, good marking etc.

You obviously don't understand the concept of perceived value. Too many people do not think the game is worth US$15/mth. it's not a matter of being able of affording it or not. There are many other games with more effort put into supporting and developing them that are $15/mth. or less.

I forgot to add, when I said $5/mth. I meant to say $5/mth. for a 5hrs. per day subscription. That way bot runners still pay the full $15/mth.

On the Elyos side there are heaps just outside Inggison fort, most are Spritimasters with fire spirist, and no legion name, they try and ninja the daily quest mobs which is annoying. They don't appear in search.

As long as the bots keep paying $15/mth each, there is no incentive to stop them. I have reported some bots in Inggison over a hundred time, they are still there.

I wasn't aware there were so many in classic. On the Elyos side I got the following expansion rows: 3 at the start 1 from shugo in Poeta 3 from shugo in sanctum 1 from shugo in tigraki 1 from from quest in Artisans hall 1 from vindicherk quest in Heiron That's 10 rows total. What else is there?

You can't "ban" a private server, you can take them to court on a commercial copyright infringement, but it's going to be a legal battle across countries, in other words you will spend more on legal fees than it is worth in revenue. You try litigating a copyright claim on Russian server operator from the US. As for the price argument, yes Aion Classic is way too expensive, should b $5/mth. but that doesn't explain why people flock to private servers for Aion Live which is free. The reason is the content, Aion screwed up game play after about Aion 4.6 with too much gear complexity, deletion of maps, and inequality.

A quick Google search came up with at least a dozen private servers, none of which are located in the US, meaning that NCsoft wouldn't fork out the legal costs of shutting down the servers, especially the ones in countries which are hostile to the US.

This is true, my old legion, about 30 players, totally quit Aion back in 2012-2013 for pretty much the reasons you pointed out, they didn't go to private servers, but other games. The problem with the lack of acceptable manastone supply has been pointed out almost daily for months. This is a clear example of NCsoft failing to listen to the paying customers. The answer given is "we are still looking into to it" ie. ignore and kick the can down the road, instead of spending 15min checking the brokers on both sides to confirm the complaints.

Spirit Recovery, if it's L44 you probably need to farm in Heiron or Theobomos or the Asmo equivalent. Generally an L44 stigma will drop from mobs around L44.

I see groups advertising for campaign every day. You are either on at the wrong times, or not looking. The easy way to solve it is start your own group. Also, you don't need to do group campaigns to level your character to L55, do the solo campaigns then other quests. I have a couple of characters that have not done the group campaigns, and they have leveled fine.

It's not that you have to pay, it's the amount you have to pay. They should have a $5/mth. for 5hrs/day plan for poorer people.
