BOS Modes?

So last night our group did BOS first boss only and we freed all 10 prisoners and completed 7/12 aid quests, killed the first boss but he only dropped 2 Harvester Equipment Soulstones.... The exact same as easy mode does... Is normal mode trigger rate different from  what we remember or is t his a bug? Submitted tickets about this but either we get no response or an auto response that says go to the forums....

The few articles I have found all say that as long as you complete MORE then 6 aid quests plus free the 10 prisoners within the allowed time you will activate NORMAL mode instead of Easy mode...we keep doing that yet it keeps giving us easy mode loot. Once again I keep putting in tickets about this issue but they just keep saying it's working as intended and to go to the forums for more help or to post a suggestion...

Apparently, to trigger normal mode and above, you need to complete two weapon additional missions (includes Meditation Chamber, Supervisor Shuratna, Kudansha and the escort one in the Lift) AND 6 quests total. Most people just do Meditation Chamber, so they get easy mode.

We were originally told that the number of Soulstones varied by "difficulty" of the instance. That turned out not to be true. We got 10 from the first boss no matter what difficulty we were at.

Now we are being told that we will get Soulstones from the first and last boss depending on the difficulty of the instance. So it could be the same as the first time, that it doesn't matter what the difficulty is that it will always only give two. Or it actually does mean the difficulty of the first boss? (Meaning you have to do the aid mission that gives you the harder Maharosh.) Anyone test that.

Not too sure, it the GM staff won't comment...so far we have done all 10 prisoners + 8 Aid quests per run and still ending up with Easymode loot. The GMs don't seem to understand what we are talking about in our support tickets and just keep telling us to "Make Suggestions" on the forums but everyone posting on the forums seems to be having the same issue. It's really frustrating that @Cyan has not clarified anything yet about this.

Come on can a GM on the forums say something on this post? Really getting sick of these idiots who reply to the support tickets... this was their last response after I re-explained that we are only farming the FIRST boss in BOS for upgrade materials and are trying to trigger NORMAL mode instead of Easy Mode loot on him but keep getting EASY mode loot despite following many different guides to trigger NORMAL mode found online:

First off, those two NPCs are the LAST bosses in the instance not the FIRST boss, which is the ONLY boss we are farming...GG nubcake GM....

As per patch notes, the changes that occurred on the Bastion of Souls is/are:

- The Hideous Cold skill of the final boss will now activate instantly if a player leaves the party or logs out.
