Reason why enchanting rates is so bad +

Hello all,

I suppose this thread is as good of a place as any. We’ve had a lot of discussion about the current enchantment system here on the forums and in game. We’ve crunched some numbers and are going to be getting some changes to you all as soon as we’re able to.

Common feedback we’ve seen with enchanting:

  • Enchanting difficulty is too high.
  • Higher tier enchantment stones are too difficult to obtain.

We’re first going to start by requesting the development team to move forward enchantment rate changes from the 6.5 update. We’re also working on some new ways to earn higher tier enchantment stones that should increase accessibility to those items considerably. We’re still working out the final details with the development team, and will share more information when we can. This isn’t everything we’re doing but we wanted to give you guys a little insight on how things will be changing in a future patch. Look forward to more information in the next few weeks.

The next few weeks is that some sick joke? It has been 6 weeks already lol and we all know you guys aren't getting shit done during the holidays so at best we might see some changes early next year amazing work guys!!!!!

Next few weeks will be holidays and nothing done so then in January we might get some info then actually see something in what Feburary or March? that is way too long to fix issues in this game and there are a lot of issues that need addressing immediately.

Are we supposed to be fooled by this? of course enchantment rates are going to be increased in 6.5 because the KOREAN PATCH NOTES have an increase in enchantment rates in 6.5. We don't even have the content we're supposed to to gain extra enchantment stones(arena rankings) and these aren't problems with the game, they're problems with ncsoft implementation of the game. If the company spent their time translating the exact game/patch/bcm/event from korea instead of figuring out ways to destroy the korea BCM which is 100 times better than the NA BCM, thinking up the most idiotic ways to gouge players of their cash, then MAYBE people wouldn't complain as much about the rates. the rates are bad because we aren't supposed to be struggling to get 6 legendary stones a week on the losing faction. It's been 2 months and we have no shards, no arena rankings which could give more stones, and worst of all, no relevant events that could help us start the game off well except for the pumpkin event at the start.

Hi: This gives a little bit of hope :3 Please make it sooner than we are expecting. Is sad to see friends come back to try the patch and quit. And since you are considering things to enhance PvP gear upgrade could I suggest something, some players dont have tons of time to farm like a bot Leaders mobs to craft and break items into "Fighting Spirit Fragments", would be possible to add them as reward in the PvP daily quests, since this patch was sold as PvP content for PvP gear?

Is this news? You said something like this a few weeks ago, man, tell the truth, these ghost developers do not exist.
What joke all of this are the current rates at the correct rates?
Will you do something for us? Will you rate the rates from 6.5 to 6.2? I very much doubt it
  what you should do to arrange the 6.2 rates for us because I very much doubt that the Korean rates are these.

and even if it is, nyerking and difficult to enchantar and it is difficult to get the stone, bring the orginal game back, where you put the 3x dredg daily? the daily IDL Evergale? the Jelly of DP, do you still have to decide on a case-by-case basis? Are you hoping to fail while you fool people?

@Cyan I suggest increasing the % chance of getting Legendary PvP Enchantment Stones from the "Battlefield PvP Enchantment Stone Bundle" that is rewarded from PvP instances.

The absolute state of this game, just roll a toon with out your gm or cm powers and try to enchant something for weeks on end only to get your item to be below what you stated with and tell me "this is a fun game" these enchant rates need to be implemented now not after the new year the game will only be whales by then, good luck collecting a paycheck when only a few hundred play the game across three servers

Glad that @Cyan shared some news with us, much appreciated! <3 Until the changes get applied I'll sit this one out until then and wait till NCSoft fixes their game. Why should I stress myself out for crazy farming and lose even the last bit of fun I have on Aion? X3 *blumps*

To be extra clear, we're going to be getting the enchantment rates from the 6.5 patch and put into our current version before 6.5 comes out for our region. Along side of this we're also going to be introducing ways in order to get more enchantment stones than possible currently (mostly PvP as PvE is a bit easier to come by comparatively).

uhm no, 1-2 leg stones per siege compared to leg/ult every pf/idd
that leg stone from id/dredge is rng af, so you're lucky to get even 2 or 3 per week w/o luna resets

The avenues for PvE stones are more abundant than PvP, not to mention PvE being available on the store. My intent with that sentence was to say they're both going to be be made more available, but PvP stones are restricted more than PvE and generally require more due to enchanting to +15 for each piece.

No, cause that would make scrubs who chain run dredgions get extras instead of git gud

@Shaperz-DN Once a scrub always a scrub. Don't care how much more geared you are if you are bad you're bad. I would love to get more pvp stones from dredge. Opened 15 bundles and I got 0 lol need buff rn

yeah, let me just swipe my wallet real quick.

they both need to be made way more available, but primarily pve, 1 legend stone per primeth that 6 people need to roll on and 1 ulti on IDD that 12 need to roll on is INSANE

siege is 4 times a week, ID and dredge happen almost daily. that's guaranteed 4 legend stones per week
