Weekly Server Maintenance - August 4, 2021

Greetings Daevas! Tomorrow we will begin regular maintenance at 6am Server Time (4am PT / 7am ET / 11am UTC). For Aion, we are expecting a downtime of approximately 7 hours 45 minutes to implement the following:

• Players from Danaria will be joining forces with the players of Katalam.

• Players who haven’t logged in since October of 2019 will have their names randomized to allow players more names to use.

• Housing will be re-enabled.

• Server will have the following boost activated for two weeks:
  • 400% EXP, 200% Crafting, 200% AP, 200% Drop

Really wish you guys would push back the merger and address all the player concerns. Btw for those that don't know, we're loosing our Wallpapers/Flooring even if you bought it with IRL $ from the BCM. Support says they will not restore them or refund us, and if you try to charge it back NCsoft support says they will ban your account.... Also @Kibbelz said to put in tickets about our names if we know others are trying to take our names, but support says they're not handling it and tells you to go to the forums to the FAQ section.

by God until vasa I will continue delaying the second patch, they do not give any damn information on the subject you ignore everyone lastly nor the union of servers you respond to people it is so difficult to give yourself 1h to be able to respond to people or is it really not Are you a GM or finally send someone to respond and give us an answer about the update changes in the game

why is the topic of item collections being ignored?

You realize how incredibly destructive it would be to erase all of DN's item collections (years of work) while KT keeps all theirs?

Its what they always do, never really discuss anything, just do what they want and ignore all the players concerns, and after that when it turns out they messed up big, they ignore some more and come up with "Its too late now, we cant pivot we will do better in the future, we promise". Every single time, events, merges they never really discuss with us whats going on and then are too lazy to fix the issue that they ignored.

They never did restore these, and now that most event consumable floors and wallpapers are no longer in the game, and the house skins havent been sold on BCM for years, theres no way of obtaining them now, and most houses are just default skins with breezy stuff, and few people that skill had some extra house skins that you could see the chocolate one here and there. And i still don't know how are they getting away with removing payed for content like that, i guess somewhere in the ToS theres a line saying that purchases can be removed in the future, or just know that people wont sue over this.

Apologies Pharoahra - just posted elsewhere in another thread that collections will not be erased for any players as a part of this server consolidation.

It should be reinitialized instead. Way too many people care about this and I yet have a friend who quit 3years ago and logs in to pay the house, (dont ask me why).

Housing materials wallpapers etc should be send out to the DN people who actually spend money over it.

Well, you remember how we were ignored during stormwing event, when they stopped transfers. And we had a thread with hundreds of comments and 4k views. No surprise they ignore a few cries from a dying DN population.

Imagine having this much of a backwards understanding as to how a customer service company should run. You guys are crooks is the simplest way of saying it by treating your players so bad so consistently. 

@Kibbelz nice save by FINALLY giving an update on the item collections but ignoring every single inquiry on the housing or name dilemma. I don’t even know why people thank you anymore for replying when your replies are useless. You guys throw a crumb down on us and think that solves everything and it’s really condescending that you think doing one logical thing excuses how unfair everything else is. 

I almost prefer Cyan never replying to you doing your sad attempt of quality control lol. Atleast your GMs will have fun doing all those bans for chargebacks, the one thing they are actually efficient about

What happens to all the items from one character if they have to change race and how can that be done without losing, level, mounts, housing, race only items ect....?

Yeah they do that every time, they count in the standard rates, like 100% normal xp when no buff + 300% buff = 400%.

But the bigger problem is that this buff doesn't seem to be active in the battleground server in lakrum/demaha/crimson.

@Kibbelzthe collection stats didnt combine, i have characters on both dn and kt same race and its only showing the kt stats after merge

They do not advertise it as 400% XP, but +400%, so that is whatever we have +400%
